I.A., nice! The vocals are getting a bit lost in the music though, towards the end. It is cool sounding though, it belongs on a soundtrack, it probably would fit the soundtrack to the movie "Heist." <- Great film by the way.
Alright, that's it, I am moving to West Virginia! You have any guitarist openings?
Peace, GuitarAnatomy.

yeah the vocals got a bit drowned out, especially during the heavy part, a remix might solve that-
Good tune, nice ending!

DAMN, what a beginning build bro! That is superb!!!
But...
The song "IS" the beginning build????
This could have been taken so many places. I'm a little disappointed, just a little, that once it got going, it didn't keep me going for a little longer.
Other than that, once again, brilliance in your style and creativity.
I think you are one of the guys on here that could have a legitimate shot at something great. You're going to be as old as I am now, before long brother. Please don't waste it like I did. Seriously, that would be a shame. Your talents are obvious.

This is a good example of modern music.
Yes, CM, the song is just a buildup.
It fits in the modern style just fine. Not my thing, really, I'd rather it went somewhere after the nice buildup. It's good for what it is, but it's nothing that will last indefinitely. Of course, if that's what we all strove for, very little would get written at all.
I kept waiting for the strong melodic catch phrase or chorus, but it never came.
Good album filler, though.
Just my two worthless cents, of course...no harm intended.

I like it, Anthony, I just get into the vibe of it. I'm not hearing the vocals getting lost quite like the other guys, but that's because I immediately heard this as a soundtrack piece (which GA mentioned earlier). That's a GOOD thing-a pretty big market for the indie guy these days. The one issue I really had with it is during the initial build up. As I said, I like the overrall vibe, but it seems TOO gradual fro the time the vocals come in (@ 0:48) to when everything kicks in (@1:48). When you're thinking in terms of a 3-4 minute song, a full minute without much change could possibly lose your listener. I'm sure you are geting more and more familiar with us Americans and our short attention spans...

Uh, what was I saying?

I'm there with Joseph6 Loved that tempo but I feel she should build a little sooner. I was hearing screaming guitar licks in my head way before the actual build took place.

thanks for all the comments guys.....
g.a im always on the look out for new players but i may be a bit long in the tooth to play metal again but you never know...
cheers craig...it means alot to me...thanks for the kind words... and im doin all i can with what i have...but im starting to think its not enough...
kramer and philbymon thanks for the comments...i dont hear the vocals getting lost in the mix but you have to listen to it loud to get all the vocals...
joe and sanshouheil....the thing about this track was it was the last song we recorded for the album...we were working to a deadline(not a nice way to make music) and the record company wanted it done yesterday..
so its an album filler song that was never going to be released as a single... i would have wanted to spend a little more time on it but we had to finish the album...so thats what we did....
cheers everybody

Joseph6, lmao! Thanks. Now I am a bit afraid to go there, probably going to be forced to play a list of John Petrucci pieces all day long, lol. "Guitar Boot Camp."
I.A., lol. Yeah, metal is not your road. I will just play whatever you like, lol.
Peace, GuitarAnatomy.

IA, the feedback on the end is cool, I always liked the old 60s music that would have those long fades or false fades, I guess I agree that it is a mood or atmosphere type piece of music

I'll bet he does have a pretty mouth...Oh, okay this is so wrong. Besides, I favor the "Wrong Turn" vision of WV over "Deliverance" Uh...yea.
