No Audio ?

Why would anyone create a profile here and not upload any audio ? Please don't tell me some people are ' computer challenged '. This is a site that's main purpose is to connect musicians to other musicians for possible collaboration. Right? I'm no techno freak, I don't even care for video games, but when I need to figure out how to put some audio on a musician's website, I did what it took to figure it out and did it. I would really like to hear some excuses. If this post incensed you enough to post a reply, respond with music if you have'nt seen the light yet !

I don't know but I'm a geek of various levels. I have music on mine. I am a vocalist and do collaborate .

Welcome to the board.

Lmao. Some people do not care to put audio up, some do not know how to do it, others are too lazy, and some do not have the gear.

I do not have the gear available at this present time (Though I am going to get some sooner or later). That is why my profile is devoid of audio. Also, I am not doing any collaborations at this very second so it is not important.

I am sure people have valid excuses, we should not be attacking them. Afterall, we do not know their circumstances.

Peace, GuitarAnatomy.

The question has been posed many times here. I feel the same way, but like GA said we don't know everybody's situation. Some people need to spend a little money for a sound card. Right now I need a sound card and can't dump any new material onto my computer.

Anyway the main reason I replied to this post was because I heard your track ADHD and thought it was ironic because i have a track called ADD (age difference apparent  - different name same disease yes?) Thought you might be interested.

Hey Gang,

I rememeber the first tune I put up...My GOD, I felt like I had just solved world hunger... I was so proud of myself , even though It was stuff from a 4 trk cassette...Yeah, when I first got into this (not long ago) I thought Id be able to run some RCAs' from cassette recorder to computer and that would be that ...Took me a while to understand digital to analog back to digital conversion, AND MIDI (what it REALLY is) :lol:Ya gotta understand youngins , Analog is all us OLDTIMERS have ever known NOW>>, We're gonna go back to Vinyl...By the time your my age GA, you'll be sayin" Hey I just got me some VINYL" and bought a digital to analog converter and a fang to cut vinyl so send me the file and Ill turn it back into REAL MUSIC.(electromagetic voltage) AND CUT ME A RECORD....  ....Ill BE TOO OLD TO ENJOY IT...

Pay for Chat

I wonder- people that have posted on chat eight or nine hundred times and still have no music samples, are they just paying to chat ? There's nothing wrong with that if that's their perogative, but hey, why not just admit it? I truly feel for the disadvantaged but not for the lazy or people who like to play the 'victim' card when the truth is that they can't get their priorities in order. Just add it up - 800 minutes at $7.00 an hour plus the cost of a bandmix membership. Looks like enough money there to gear up. You don't need pro tools to play. But I guess there will always be the guy that mows the lawn while his house is burning down. And for anyone who feels the need to be 'attacked' go to the freaky (and yet, totally predictable) debate about religion that arose from a guy looking for a Christian singer. Did I say ,Christian? Sorry bout that.
