It's worth it.

I'll be buying one soon. I used to have a similar resource years ago called "Songwriter's Market" or something like that, and it was a very good resource.

You "could" find much of the information contained within that book these days on the internet, but it would be a HUGELY time consuming process, especially getting the emails, phone numbers and addresses of literally thousands of places.

This puts it all in front of you in a logical fashion.

It also contains articles and how-to's on the music industry.

They have partnered with MANY respectable industry businesses, so it is not a scam. However, you should realize that MANY places DO NOT allow unsolicited material to be sent to them though, and I suspect that this book will tell you which ones do and which ones do not.

You can learn a little more here:

Good luck.

I mean, do you need a blanket and a pillow or is it actually a good read?

Gee, now you are an authority on what people want in a book>?

Craig, did it ever occur to you that someone else might want something more than addresses or are you just always right NO MATTER WHAT?

How about telling us what's good in the art world now? Picasso or Matisse?

Monet? Georgia O'keefe? What should we all be learning from you tO-day?

Hmmm...

Maybe, that you don't read for comprehension?

Try reading the posts again and see if you can tell me what I am referring to?

Isn't that a good thing?

Sounds like you'll have the best product out there. I hope it's yours, and you're not just being paid to research it. If so, make a mint on it. Good luck bro!

its a good thing and a bad thing...good in that its unique...bad in that since nothing like this has been done there are no parameters for it....soo much info to put into it...what gets left out....whats a fair price....what things are more imortant to what artists.....should it be geared towarf indie...main stream....hop hop ....rock....lots of things to considder when you are inventing the wheel. ....a commercial spot huh.....i could actually do that .....whats my cut?
