A friend of mine passed away over a year ago. I was listening back to a live performance of his and decided to cover his sad song. I'm a sucker for sad songs. It's even sadder when you listen to the lyrics and realize how tortured he must have been. Much great art comes out of pain. I recorded this last week.

i really like this piece..the lyrics are very well put together and you play and sing it flawlessly..i love the sound of the organ very old skool and rich..the only thing i found was that it was a bit long but apart from that there is very little i didnt like about it....great job big man.

Thanks you 2. Man I found out it's not Sam's song! It's by John Gorka. I cant edit the video now as I deleted the raw footage. I just edited the info in the description and title. How embarrassing

I am sorry about your friend. I appreate the value of sad songs my life used to be a very long sad song. I checked out your video and i felt it. Good proformance and delivery. Thank you for sharing it You are a good artist man.

Very nice song. From the heart-This is good. You have inspired me this morning to sit down at the piano. I am a rock drummer but I like to write a few country songs on the keys which is the only genre I can seem to write with keys.
