Share the sites that actually do stuff for bands. (i.e. Tools, Resources, Widgets, etc...)

Here are some I use....

http://www.reverbnation.com/

Lots of good widgets for spreading your music.

http://www.apollotunes.com/

Excellent free EPK with this site!

http://www.gydget.com

Cool Gidget for music AND video in one player!

http://www.broadtexter.com/

Your fans can sign up by location and you can send them a bulk text message when you play in their area, or provide "insider" news about the band or whatever. Free service. Normal text rates apply to the receiver. No secret charges.

http://spreadshirt.com

Design your band apparel, and set the price. They take the orders and send them out. No charge to you. You receive whatever you charged your fans above the base prices.

http://www.betarecords.com

Among other services, free ringtone service. They will upload your song and let you cut it where you want, into a ringtone, then give you a gidget, and for free, people can download your ringtone (of your own music) onto their phones!

Posting all this good info has got to help some of us who know little or nothing about all these different websites (like me). Thanks again.

You're more than welcome Bob. You definitely don't want me posting my entire "Favorites" list, even under just my "Music" folder. LOL

I just picked out some of the more basic and immediately useful ones.

I was hoping to get some in return, but apparently no one is sharing. :-(

LOL
