Hey man, what's up? Welcome to the Band Mix forum board. Can you play any Metallica stuff on those drums? I am a big Metallica fan, as everyone knows on here, lol. I play a lot of their stuff on guitar. Also, I can see you are influenced by Lamb of God, can you play "Walk With Me in Hell"?

I can play just about any Metallica song... I haven't played any in a while though but with a little practice I could do it easily... and yes I can play walk with me in hell... I am a huge Lamb of God fan and a huge Metallica fan.

Bloody awesome, man. I need to learn "Walk With Me in Hell" on guitar. But I will wait till I upgrade my gear, these humbuckers and this cheap amplifier of mine just will not cut it. Some of Metallica's best drums come off of the Justice Album. From "And Justice For All" itself to "One," they have some great drums on there. Lars Ulrich is one of the best ever in my opinion. But it all depends on personal taste.

Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

Drummers are the most important part of the band, if one is bad, the band is in trouble. The drummer carries the band usually, especially in metal.

yeah i'll agree with that also lol... I just quit my band recently and I am actually looking for some people to play with... just something to bull sh*t around with. I need a break for a while.

I do not blame you, I have never been in a band, but just from sheer logic I can imagine sometimes being with one band can be annoying, especially if they are not exactly your style.

*Note: I just listened to Walk With Me in Hell, Mark Morton's solo rocks.

yeah Lamb of God kicks so much ass I love the creativity with the drum work that's what really got me into them.

I am not into too heavy metal, but Lamb Of God is actually pretty freaking talented. Great guitar riffs and awesome drum work there. Plus, something I like about Morton, is that in his solo he is using speed but it is not so fast you cannot think. I do not like when metal guitarists go too fast, like 400 bpm, lmao. I can never play that stuff, it burns out my hands.

Megadeth has some awesome pieces for guitar, I have never really payed major attention to their drums though. But if you are looking for a classic rock drummer, best probably is Jon Bonom, that or Keith Moon.

Also, Fear Factory has some good stuff. I liked Invisible Wounds.
