Musician Forum - Band Discussion Board - BandMix

So my buddy and I just downloaded audacity to do some acoustic recordings for our new bands. It is really a neat program and completely free but we cant figure out how to save the files as mp3's so we can upload it to a site. So if anyone uses it and can provide some feedback let me know.

You have to get the LAME encoder, unzip it and tell Audacity where it is. (Audacity will ask when you use the Export option the first time) Then you use the Export option in Audacity and tell it to export the file as MP3.
