Discussion - Playing guitar without fret inlays
Posted: Tue Aug 20, 2019 7:52 amFor anyone who has gone from playing guitar with fret inlays to one that only had the side dots, how did it feel? Did you find that you seemed to rely on the fret inlays more than you thought? Or did you pick it up no problem?
My friends at Apknite company say that If he's playing sitting down, just kind of practice, he will tend to lean over and look at the inlays more so he gets a better sense of where his fingers actually are on the fretboard, as well as which strings they are on.
How about you?
