Good luck to you, GMike. You should do a promo tour out my way. Your stuff would play well for a lot of people out here in California where anything right of far left is extreme right. I'd go see you as long as you don't out me as a right-winger. :wink:

Thanks, but I'm long past the 'national tour' thing. I've read stories of bands doing national tours and barely breaking even when they finish - or even losing money. A band I know that has 20 albums out has been touring nationally with a large truck-like RV towing a trailer with all their gear. The engine crapped out on them 2500 miles from their home base - $15000 repair that took a month, so they had to borrow and rent vans to keep going - and had to cancel their European dates (although they had promoters to handle the worst of those show details). In the end, they'll be lucky to show much income this year.
Then there are (much younger) people I've read about doing national tours (usualy as opening act for various other acts) and they are sleeping in their car many nights, etc. Not for me. Maybe if I'd done that 40 years ago ...
