Todd has long said he couldn't give a rat's ass about the Hall - it's all controlled by Jann Wenner, and is basically just another money-making scheme (induction concert, etc - he gets all these greats to play, and present awards - for free or for room & board, and collects thousands of $$ for ticket sales.)
'Rufus'? John Prine? Janet Jackson? It is titled the Rock & Roll HoF - none of these folks are rock. But then again they inducted Joan Baez and Tupac last year ….

Todd has long been a giant of R&R - I'd just sort of assumed that both he as an individual and Nazz as a band were already in the hall of fame. Same with the Zombies - they were one of the best English invasion bands...

I remember when Todd Rungren produced Grand Funk's "American Band" album. That song was always a trip to play.
