You have good tone, but you also have a major pitch problem. You could try lessons, and see if they can assist you in 'finding the right note'.

I dunno why but the vocals on the recording aren't very clear when I listen. The short answer is yes. A lot of bands will settle. You need to tend to the things that MikeB pointed out, tho. A band can survive a mediocre guitarist but a singer or drummer that is not on point, not so much. Your mother will always love you, so props for putting your material up here. I had my singer go to lessons for coaching on the style we wanted to do. It helped her a lot. A little bit of professional coaching might help you focus on what needs work and how to get it to sound the way it should.
