I write and compose on a Google drive which puts my stuff up in the 'cloud.' I've used that to keep working on a Mac when I forgot my charger for the PC and was out on the farm. Works pretty well.
Add that to backing up to a thumb drive and you should be in tall cotton.
Regardless, I've been looking at tools like iDrive for additional backups and ways to restore my bootable drive on a new computer if Ole Betsy takes the high jump.
