Pansies? Well at least we're not sadists! 10s for the Gibsons and 9s for the Fenders, and all will be well in the world.

I can't bear to think of how your Tele must be suffering... 8)

MT, I'll have you know that not only is that tele one very happy camper, it is also very secure and never acts up or pouts when it feels it's being neglected!

My LP is currently toned to open G with just 5 strings on it.

Fanboy that I am I set my Tele up to open G with 5 recently. It's the first time I ever played Honky Tonk Woman on a guitar and it sounded right. KR might be on to something!

Funny, my 5 str banjo, square neck dobro, and one of my old SUPRO lap steels are all in " G tuning".... But I've never had much use for it on gtr.

I do keep an old HARMONY solid body beater in "open E".

I got to use the Epi Les Paul at gigs last Friday and Saturday. I must say it sounds so similar to a real Les Paul I am just in AWE of this guitar! It is Love and Lust all at the same time, with my Marshall setting in Helix the tones are HUGE, fat, thick and creamy!

I put the 9-42 EXL 120's on the Epi Les Paul Monday. I have played it for 2 days now. I haven't noticed any difference whatsoever in intonation, tuning stability or tone. The thing still plays great and sounds great! :D
