I've lost count of how many people (recently) I've heard refer to the Allman Brother song with this name, rather than the correct 'Melissa'. One guy (who is actually a Berklee School of Music graduate) didn't believe me and did a quick google on his phone, only to find I was right.
What other songs do you hear people misname regularly?

i won a bet yrs ago...stakes were a big "fattie".
a bandmate insisted the line in Steely Dan's "Deacon Blues" was "sue me if I play IT WRONG" instead of the actual "sue me if i play TOO LONG".

Beach Boys - "Barbara Ann" is actually pronounced "Baba-Rann" so that's their own damn fault.

Oh yeah, there's plenty of mis-heard lyrics (fewer now that people can google them), but I was referring to song titles.

My brother's best friend thought Ted Nugent was singing "catch that streaker" instead of "Cat Scratch Fever".
No doubt I've butchered some lyrics along the way too!
