Does anyone ever check their inbox or do they just advertise they're looking for a band and then wonder why they are not in a band? I've got 28 unread messages that I have sent out.

Your account can be set up to send you an email notice when you receive an message - or not. Did you check to see when the last time these 'hopefuls' had accessed their account? There's a lot of 'wannabes' who set up profiles here, you have to weed through the chaff to find the good grain!

Did you read the replies to your thread "Why are people on here if..."? We discussed this very thing at some length; both Mike and I specifically addressed it in our responses. Perhaps there would be some value in going back and reviewing that info...?

I admit that I only check my inbox about once a week if I remember. I am supposed to get a notice...and maybe I do...but they get lost in all the other stuff.

My advice is if they are active members who check in at least once a month, try again.

Yes I do look at their last login and I do have a premeir account so I can see they haven't read it. But when their profile states they're dedicated, serious minded etc.. and checking it once a week isn't bad but not at all??? And if someone does read it only very few will actually respond. I have had people inquire about me and I always respond. In this business/hobby we need all the allies we can get. You never know if we're gonna cross paths later down the line. I try to keep a good repoire with everyone.

'wannabes' - they set up their BM account but don't know what they're doing.
