I remember when the term 'heavy metal' first started getting used - Led Zep, Black Sabbath were the frontrunners. Are 'singers' (I use the term loosely) still doing that 'growling' thing? I don't get that at all.

not bad....that had me with the opening ascending xylophone glissando! some parts worked better than others for me.

kinda felt a little like the band Renaissance if they were on steroids! are you hip to that band, george? not very "metal" (well...not at all) but they always had some very interesting orchestration and their lead singer Annie Haslan was something else with a gazillion octave range. Great melodic bass playing too.
