Slacker - I had thought the Lonestar was a SRV model partly due to the pickups and of course the name. I'll say this for that guitar, my brother and a friend both bought one after they played mine. And it already had a confederate flag on the back under the bridge. :)

Better hide that flag from the libs :) The pickup compliment sounds good. Wish I could actually hear them. (live)

I know Fender made a Lone Star and a SRV. ( the SRV was made at the request of his brother according to wiki in 1991) But I didn't think the Lone Star and the SRV were the same model.

EDIT

I checked it out. The Lone Star" was called that because Fender said it had a sound as big as Texas. It is a HSS model whereas the SRV is a SSS model. (Pickup configuration)

Your Lone Star is likely worth quite a bit more than the SRV model as it is no longer available.
