Trilogy rocked the place Friday night. They've asked us back for 3 more dates this year and want us to commit to a once-per-month gig for all of 2018.
Here's a couple of videos from our first set:

cool! You guys focus on being a vocal group and you'll never run out of gigs.
good luck with this project Mike. Looks like you've got something worth pursuing.

Steady (supplemental) income's the real goal. We're not going to commit to the 12 month schedule though, we'll ask for a couple of months at a time. The great thing about this place is that the owner is not concerned with us 'bringing in a crowd' - his business is pretty steady, as long as he has music.
Food is pretty good, too (we get dinner out of it, too!)

The guy liked us enough (this was after we discussed during Monday night practice) that we could book as many nights a month as were available per their booking schedule (they have a few bands booked already) - we could, in fact, become the 'house band'. But we really don't want that. I've done that before, and it gets real stale playing the same place every weekend. Besides, we think we can get more money at other places, as we build up our fan base and play different places. So besides the 3 gigs already booked there for this year, we're going for 1 Friday night a month January through March.
Food - very good! Chicken Parm was 3 pounded-flat slabs (each separately breaded and cooked) then piled high and loaded with cheese and sauce - an easy 2 dinners worth of food. I've had pasta and meatballs there before, also excellent. They're known for their pizzas, too.

Oh the wonderful world of gigging. I'd almost forgotten ...
Our September gig has been cancelled - the place double-booked (and we were 2nd). At least we found out now, and not as we were loading in.
