help i'm poor!!! we wanna live where we do art!
Posted: Thu Jun 15, 2017 5:43 amMy boo and i are musicians and we are having the darndest of times trying to find a HOUSE to rent so we can practice in the basement and not disturb our neighbors. We have looked for so long and it's really becoming awful because housing is sooo expensive compared to apartment/duplex living. I'm just getting really down about it (ofc houses are better in every way besides money) and feeling like we should start looking at apartments/ duplexes. we currently live with family and there's a baby present so loud music isn't really an option there.
Does anyone have any support/advice on this issue? how can we practice at any hour we please? are there practice space co-operatives? We prefer a house, so if that can be the central goal...idk. otherwise, just tips on how you made it work in your duplex. how do you afford a practice space that was safe enough to keep gear in?
