Quit a band, still got the right to get paid?

My wife played four years in a band as singer and wrote all their lyrics for their first album. Due to problems with the other four members she quit the band two years ago. During that time the rest of the band continued to play their songs and sell the records.
Does she still earn a percentage of the receipts or has she lost everything when she quit the band?
