does the Boston Symphony Orchestra rehearse?

they have sheet music right in front of them, why then are they not rehearsing? these are pros in every sense of the word, and if they don't need rehearsal then that says something right there.. :)

it's been said, right here on bandmix forum that rehearsals are not needed, I want to get the final verdict.. are we in agreement that jazz bands wing it and don't need rehearsals? , but other styles need them?.. without being a narc, I liked the thing one of the regulars said here whether it was mockingly, or for real, but I always got a kick out of him saying, if you hit a "wrong" note you can always call t jazz.. LMAO :lol:
