Groupies
Posted: Sat Apr 29, 2017 4:07 pmIn Birmingham a week ago, and was told that the best guitar rock club was "The Nick" so I went. Walked in about 8 PM and walked out at 9AM the next morning....they were still selling liquor and the morning shift had come in.
Anyway, there was a hot blond cheering on a band and she seemed to be with them. Long story short, she was after the drummer and invited him to stay at her place for the night. He agreed to, but then left with the band and jilted her.
Because I had been hanging out with them she thought I knew them, and came over to give me a message for the drummer. Feeling sorry for her, I was just being nice when I bought her a drink and let her pour her heart out. After about 10 minutes she forgot all about it. Over the course of the night, she's strike up a conversation with some guy and then move on to another guy until about 8 or 9 guys were all certain that she was going home with them.
But in between she kept coming back over to me (maybe because I wasn't chasing her?) and she'd start telling me about all the rock stars she had bedded. Got too much information, actually. It was better than any book on the subject. And now I have LOTS of blackmail material for extortion.
