Rock ‘n’ roll legend Chuck Berry dies at 90

NEW YORK (AP) — Chuck Berry, rock ‘n’ roll’s founding guitar hero and storyteller who defined the music’s joy and rebellion in such classics as “Johnny B. Goode,” ”Sweet Little Sixteen” and “Roll Over Beethoven,” died Saturday at his home west of St. Louis. He was 90.

Never was a huge fan, but he definitely was the basis for much guitar rock.

There has probably been no greater influence on rock n roll and rock guitar than Chuck Berry.

I find it weird that he and Chuck Barris (Gong Show) died within a day of each other.
