That's what they're calling today's winter storm. Pretty much everything around here is closed for the day, as they're predicting 18-24" of snow. So far we've only had 1-2" since it started falling 3 hours ago.
I'm working remotely today, so its pretty slow.

Took the time to finish up the mixes on two songs.

"Stop the Hate' - you may have heard the original version of this already, I've been playing it live since November, but did some changes to it, and recorded it with the new changes. Guess it's kind of a folk-protest song:

This one is probably too "easy listening" for you hard-rockers and jazzers. I added the bass when I realized there was not enough low end in the mix, but I only did one take. I'll probably redo the bass at some point:

10-12" of snow here so far, took me about 1-1/2 hours to snowblow the first batch.

just listened to this after RG's "Disgusted" tune.... interesting bookend/companion pieces.

nothing wrong w the gtr sound as is....but it might be cool to have it on nylon string instead and really go for more of a brazilian thing.

sounds like you were listening to "From The Beginning" by Emerson Lake & Palmer quite a bit before composing this tune Mike..

Not at all, just happens to be a similar Am (open) chords, I go to Dm, ELP went to D major, but only one time, before moving down to C with the descending bass line. I wonder why ELP or Yes never sued each other for the E harmonic start to that song and Roundabout?

Wish I had a nylon string to use, other than my ukes! I don't usually fingerplay, hence the different sound on this one.
Ended up with 14-15" of snow, then everything froze up solid overnight.
