I am so convinced that the tune Cruisin' While Snoozin' by Dayne Nobody IV will be a success that I entered it onto cdbaby free account..,. alright, maybe not so sure, but wanted to see what the process was to upload a tune and it was not bad at all... there must have been 12 or 15 steps to do it, but it was thorough and did not cost a cent.. they have 3 distinct plans..to choose from, so give it a shot if you think you have a good tune

I'm not aware of any CDBaby 'free' plan, but don't kid yourself - CDBaby just puts the music out there available on various online sites. You still have to do all the marketing yourself.
For the month of February, the standard album plan is $29 (a little more than half price).

Mike, pretty sure they do not even put it out on other sites using the free plan, it just stays at cdbaby.. but it is free

Now edit the CD baby link into the info of the track. And maybe consider a cover pic with less body hair?

You can even have it as an option underneath the track. Don't know how to do that yet.

yeah, well I think if you know how to get through the internet, you’ve got a really good shot because the exposure is unbelievable. When you see some of the hits on YouTube where there are nine hundred and forty million people, it’s unbelievable the exposure you can get if you just hit the right button. You put it perfectly. I’m basically a jazz musician and one of my big theories is “don’t think, just respond, just play, this is the key,” and I was actually doing this early on, and I didn’t realize how I was doing it. But even with The Tijuana Brass—and I’m serious about this— I never played the songs before I recorded them. There’s only one song, “Zorba the Greek,” that I had to learn because it was very technical, but other than that, when I recorded “The Lonely Bull” on down to the rest of the catalog—because I played all the trumpets on The Tijuana Brass records—I never rehearsed the songs. - Herb Alpert
