what gripes my ass, is how Nathan East a great bassist who has played for the great smooth jazz band Fourplay can only garner 2 likes while some unknown playing sh*t music can get 6500 likes? it makes no sense

maybe the world is turning into what scripture has said all along, "the good will be seen as to be bad, and the bad will be made out to be good" .. in music as well as morality..

yes, Mike, but at 1.2 cents a like how can a guy go wrong? ..likes should peak somebodys interest to take it to the next level?.. the next level might be getting real ears to listen to 10 seconds of it? what the hell good is soundcloud uploading
tunes if they just sit there with maybe a few listens from cousins and friends you ask to listen to them?.. are we back to square one again, a guy ain't gonna get listens unless they play out live?

you can stick it front of somebody's face, and they refuse to listen let alone buy it for 99 cents.. if you are an established celebrity you sell out stadiums for millions of dollars..

No one is browsing Soundcloud to find new music to listen to except other musicians. If you're obsessed with 'Likes', and you buy 5000 fake ones to get a few real ones, and you feel its worth it, then go for it.

Dayne, you gotta build up a real fan base. Even on Soundcloud. Go through my list of people I follow and most of them will follow you back. Likes come soon after. There's only a certain ratio of online users who will hit like on anything anyway. Look at youtube vids, Views vs likes or dislikes. they're lucky if 1% of viewers react at all.

Yup, most people aren't even 'signed in' to youtube when they view, so they can't 'like'.
