listening to it now.....yeah, right on. i dig it. a little more reverb than i would use for this genre but a very nice recording and excellent playing. and kudos for leaving some space for stuff to happen. Not "over the top" at all.....it's quite tasteful and authentic for the genre. 8)

i'm going in for surgery thurs and will be laid up and off my feet for at least a wk ( my studio is downstairs and the wife ain't gonna let me out of the easy chair, let alone trucking up and down stairs for a good week)....but i definitely wanna do something w this. what did you have in mind.....a pass around, or do you just want me to run w it....or?

oooooh! it just got to that sweet ritard at the end...yeah, baby.

again....nice job, man!

May god grant you a speedy recovery

The whole time I'm jamming to this beat the walking bass line on joe's song "All Night Long" was in my head.

I am so fearful that I murdered it, that I am queasy feeling.. the last thing I want to do is dishonour RG's excellent drumming, but it was a 1st take, so chances are I could improve upon it.. it was just starting to "come on" ..I could actually feel something coming on.. 8)

I'm itchin' to upload it to Soundcloud, and then, we as the BandMix musical family can decide what to cull on the parts I presented to the BandMix family, or we as analysts of music can decide the whole Dayne Nobody IV parts need to go LOL  ..maybe we can keep 5 to 10 seconds of my better riffs..(if any?).. if for some reason some parts of it that I contributed are "working" we can assign different musical tasks to other BandMix family members.. I am sure I looked at it differently than other musicians, especially since I jammed it out before I knew RG was thinking in his head while drumming about the walking bass line part.. :|

this is off-topic, but there was a tune on Steely Dan's Aja album in which I think a guitarist played minutes and minutes of music on Aja, but in the end they kept like 14 seconds of his "work"? I also heard somewhere that it was Jay Graydon who got the nod as the lead guitarist on one of the tunes after other hired hands(guitarists) were not envisioning what Fagen envisioned.. :?

I can't believe I downloaded this almost 2 months ago. I still have other collab tracks I haven't gotten to because I simply haven't had the time. Too bust trying to make money to goof too much but here it is. This is one-off stuff. Psychedelic Jump Blues.
