Posted: Wed Oct 12, 2016 5:36 pmanybody listen to it? a basic simplistic music it sounds like to me, but beautiful in my opinion .. Led Zeppelin got into it, and as usual, they seemed to improve on the idea..imo..

Posted: Thu Oct 13, 2016 1:28 pmNever could get into Indian music, not sure if it is the differing scales used. I remember getting the Concert for Bangla Desh multiple-album set, and listening to about 5 minutes of the Ravi Shankar side and pulling it off the record player.
Even the use of Indian instruments in western music I rarely found interesting - the Beatles' use of sitars, for example.
