I was on the Melvins related internet. Not sure why it applies here, but oh well. Very excited about it of course.

Actually, i listened to all 3 of Le Butcherettes most recent albums in the last week before this was announced. I'm over the moon to have them collaborating with a female singer for an entire album and such an innovative and gutsy female, to boot (saw LBs open for them 3 times in a year).
Here's a good example of what they're capable of with another collaboration, just one track on an album of guest vocalists.

I don't know anything about Omar or his project, but he seems like a solid player and a prolific songwriter. He's also pretty polarizing amongst Melvins fans.
