I'm a vocalist that wants to start writing more original songs. The problem is its difficult for me to write if I'm not writing to music. I think if i had music to write to, then my words, ideas, and feeling would flow with ease.

Are there any musicians (guitar, pianist, etc. ) that would like to collaborate by sending me music that you aren't particularly attached to? Or that you don't really have plans for? It can be something you're must playing around with. I just need a pretty melody. I'd really appreciate it.

I've got a lot of instrumental pieces that could use lyrics, or at least lyrical ideas to get started. Any particular genre you prefer? How do I get them to you?

I'm also from Beaumont (Vidor, actually)
