It's been a little while since we've done this, so how's about we take another stab at seeing what kinds of different approaches and takes folks might come up w another chord progression?

Here's some chords i was just messing around with....

// DMaj7 / Em7 / DMaj7 / Em7 Dm7 /

/ CMaj7 / Dm7 / CMaj7 / Dm7 Em7/

/ DMaj7 / Em7 / DMaj7 / Em7 /

/ F#m7 / Em7 / F#m7 / Em7 A7 //

jook, i just remembered that you have an allergic reaction and break out in hives when you're anyone near a Maj7 chord.....so feel free to play those Maj7s as Maj6 chords.

and anyone who wants to rock out w their ____ out.....you can play the Major chords as.... well...just straight up Maj chords.

who's up?

Oh, well, if they can't be -7, -7b5, aug, dim, 9, 11, 13, etc., count me out.

Yes!

And I play Maj 7 with as much distortion as Slayer all day. It rocks! Even had a disagreement with the former guitarist about it. He said it doesn't work with distortion. I begged to differ. See former guitarist. :roll:

Happy joy joy! Jook! :lol:

I pierced the tip of left hand middle finger today with a wild rose thorn (it actually stuck in my finger, breaking off the vine. That was the most serious of the piercings today as I did some work for my mom. Bandaid on the finger makes for sucky sound on the guitar!
This is kind of mainstream for a PG chord pattern, no?
