I think they called this a "definitive" ranking just to tick everyone off.

I'd say David Lee Roth before Freddy Mercury but what do I know? I always liked Paul Rogers, too.

Notice these are all classic rock bands from like what 40 or 50 years ago now?

And what about Front Women? Anyone care to make that list?

That's just your ignorant assumption. You are the polar opposite of racist Mr. Jimmy. You are so afraid of appearing to be a racist you put all people from the south in your little racist category. Just like it is wrong to be racist, its also wrong to assume all people from the south are racist, but you already knew that didn't you Mr. Genius.

A lot of the names above aren't "frontmen", they soloists (with bands behind them). I consider a 'frontman' to be the lead singer/performer for a band, not John Doe (& the Smiths). And if a band regularly split off the front spotlight, the 'frontman' was not that (Stevie Nicks, as an example).

In no particular order:
Mick Jagger
Jon Anderson
Ian Anderson
Robert Plant
Jerry Garcia
Jim Morrison
Paul Rogers
Ann Wilson
Debbie Harry

We are all evolving towards greater Elvisness! So sad to see that Mojo Nixon has left the building, too.

I once bought a '64 Cadillac so I could have something cool to pick Mojo up in for a concert in Dallas, late 80s. Sold that amazing car for the down payment on my last house. Got to hang out with Mojo for a couple of days.

I think I've mentioned doing a Cable Access show in Dallas 1983-1990? One of those shows was on Mojo playing at Craig "Nightman" Taylor's wedding in '88. He was a crack-up nut, and now eating jelly donuts with the king and The King.
