General Music Chat

Hey, I'm new to this website, after seeking for a few hours of what I can do to actually form some sort of band. There are people who live around in my area but their main focuses are on the Bluegrass/Country genre as I'm highly influenced into a kind of a soft-grunge sort of Genre. Major influences like Nirvana, Cage The Elephant, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Sublime, etc. These bands get me through my day. I am highly obsessed with music, as I listen to it everyday, I'm trying to teach myself how to play my guitar, but I mainly sing. I've sang ever since I was a young child. I've sung at one bar and one of my schools awhile back, so some sort of experience there! Anyways, glad to be here and let me know if you could help, I'd appreciate it!
