we're finally getting some video posted from a particularly hot (weather) gig we did last month. no black dress slacks, button down white shirts with ties, or hats for us when the temp is 100 degrees. (or when it's ANY temp for that matter!)

we knew this was being recorded and we WANTED to dress a little better....but it was sooooo stoopid hot, no way that was gonna happen.

now that I have high speed internet I can watch youtube a little, and thought that was a solid performance.. I was expecting a 3 Doors Down cover song, but this was totally different and jazzier.. :D

Good stuff, P-guy, good to see you're still around. I'm still envious (or is it jealous?); if I ever make it up your way...

Now about that weather...

Thanks DP.....i would think you'd be used to that kind of weather and worse! There's a good chance the little woman and i will be making our Dec pilgrimage to Anna Maria Island (Bradenton area) if so....maybe we can hook up for some tunage. 8)

Oh gawd, broootal. On PBS last week, they were sayin' this year has been the hottest ever recorded; so much for the global-warming naysayers. It's making me seriously rethink the long-hair thing.

If you do make it down here, sure, let's have some fun. B-ton ain't that far away.

I want to see it so hot that North America is split in two by a sea from melted ice caps and we have trilobites swimming around in Kansas again.. :D

But won't that put Missouri under water?

maybe Mike? LOL :D .. I saw a show on PBS with a director of Smithsonian hosting, going to Kansas a lot because there are good fossils from the ancient seas there..that stuff is just fascinating.. but yet the naysayers are always reminding us we are doomed because the earth temps are rising, no, we are not doomed, we will just have different species to eat and harvest..LOL :D

as I recall one show from that series on PBS, claimed there was a mountain range running through New York City millions of years ago, and they proved it examing the ground 30 feet deep or someting.. really neat how stuff never stays the same.. there is also a break in the crust from Canada thru Iowa and beyond ..really a mysterious experience being alive on a ball floating in space..

Mark - normally I'd take up a collection for a pair a leather pants but I live in GA and know what summer can be like. Hell, I had a friend (and Keyb player) who liked to play naked. (I wasn't huge on that myself)

You and Ted (Yod) certainly impress me in keeping your musical noses to the creative grindstone and making it work. Too many naysayers use excuses but some find a way.

cheers
