Hey guys,

I really need some constructive feedback and I'd be happy to check out anything in return.

Bio: Dylan Briscall is a 24 year old Singer/Songwriter from the GTA, Canada. He has loved music for as long as he can remember largely in part because of his father who passed away in 2009. He is a major inspiration for why Dylan writes and performs music. Dylan has been writing music for only 4 years and this EP is his first ever venture into studio recording.

It's a pretty professional sounding presentation, but I don't like how high pitched it is. Can you sing and / or play any lower? There's an entire chunk of the graphic eq that you're just leaving unused.

Also, too earnest. The tenor of the vocals plus the heartfelt nature of your lyrics could tend to pigeonhole you as that one guy who sings really emotional songs to really emotional chicks. Don't paint yourself into that corner. Try some emotionally detached lyrics. Try some nonsensical lyrics. Try funny voices.

Put the lime in the freakin coconut!

May be his intent, who knows? Who cares? Be that guy, if it suits you. I got into music for the music.

Girls have cooties.

Trust me. I have a bad side of the bed phase....and this ain't it.

Guy asked for feedback. Third time coming to the board and doing so. I see from his bio that he's young. Trying to go easy on him. But if he's asking me for feedback, go listen to some Beck acoustic stuff. That's what I listen to. Not this I really want to be the boyfriend you think I can be Jerry Maguire stuff.

The vocal EQ (or is it the mic?) is the same for all 3 songs I listened to - makes the vocal stand apart (and not in a good way) from the instruments which are mixed very well. Maybe its the reverb EQ. Or maybe its the pitch corrections - there's a warble that might be part of your voice, but it's everywhere.

Production value is fantastic, and you've got a great voice.

To echo what others have said: This will make teenage girls explode.
