I decided to write and record a song to mark Dane's departure from Bandmix.

Instead of of something dark and sad I went the other way choosing to think about some of the brighter moments and worthy contributions Dane's made here.

So, here it is.... hot off the presses. Written, recorded, and roughly mixed this afternoon.

Excuse the slop, but i was working on a timeline and now have to get the car loaded w "Planetary gear" (vibes, gtrs, mando, amps) for a 5-7 PJAZZ gig and load my bass gear for a later 9-1 bass gig at the truckstop.

I've never been good at titles so until someone comes up w something better....i'm gonna call it "Leaving At Sundown".
