Lots of members get frustrated about this issue and post a topic like this. I see three basic options.

1- check when was the last time this person visited their account. If it was recently, good. If it was months or years ago, bad.

2 - an equal number of complaints have been registered about how no one has music posted in their profile or enough info on what they do, want, or play. Update everything on your profile.

3 - basic human nature. They're rude, don't like your stuff or can't be bothered.

Good luck! Come back and talk music. We need more Rush fans.

Yeah, don't expect much from Band-mix members.
.
You need to segue from the 'research stage' to actually being around people who are usually actively playing.
.
You'd be better off going to local open mikes (whether you sing/play or not).
Even if they don't play your style, even if they're 'not good enough,' you need to be around.
.
Most of our success in life comes from our interaction with other people. Everybody knows people; and when you meet new people, you'll eventually meet their friends, too.

Actually, one of our members did some metrics and found that it took about twenty contact attempts to come up with somebody useful.

He got a band out of it. I've had success with it as well and so have others. Just takes a lot of work.

Good luck

I was in two bands as a result of my profile here. I ended up quitting one (many reasons) and the other broke up when the lead singer let - but both were viable entities!

The Hall Of Shame is a tourist attraction in the god awful Cleveland, Ohio area. Rush are worth 3 million times that to me in a personal level. Just one fan and his (original) favorite band. 8)
