I can understand the decision to give up gigging - but you may end up missing it!

Awesome Jimmy, I'm in a new band playing the same stuff. We are playing 60 to 70, 4 hour gigs a year. Playing every weekend I'm pretty stoked. Hey I remember you play thru a Marshall amp. Is it a JVM?

The reason I am asking is I bought a JVM 215c and wanting to connect it to my 2x12 Mesa cabinet. It is a combo amp. Have you connected yours this way? The amp sounds fine and I bought it for smaller club gigs but I like it so much wanting to use it at the larger festival gigs. My question to anyone who knows is, do I need to disconnect the on board speaker when doing it? Or can I leave it connected as long as the ohms are the same?
Sorry for high jacking your thread just haven't heard from you in a while and wanted to ask the question.
Don't sell your gigging equipment you'll need it when you're missing live performing and wanting to gig again. I have seen this lots of times. Guys get burned out from gigging too much, sell their gear only to buy it again. Heck the acquisition is all the fun right? You'll probably see me doing this in a couple of years. 60 gigs a year?

HEY!??!?!?!

Yeah, it is good to see you here, Jimbo. Don't let anyone run you off again, ok?

Looks like I need to make a road trip to Detroit in the next year?
