When you post a song . . .

When you post a song which you want members to listen to, Post it HERE, on Bandmix.
.
If I have to leave to go to this site or that site, I often don't bother to come back . . . too much trouble; I have a lot of other things I want to do besides internet surfing, guys . . .
.
Bandmix lets your post your songs here, so - why DON'T you, eh? Hey, send me away, and - Okay - I'm gone.
:)
Make me stay here, and we can talk after I listen to your song, okay?

you know.....to go to someone's profile page actually requires TWO clicks vs. just clicking ONCE on a link that someone's provided!

and if you don't want to lose your BM tab...just right click on the link and "open in new tab"....then check out the tune(s)....close the tab for that site...and voila...you're back at BM. it's actually easier and requires less moves!

ok R-Man, I have been steadily "working" the last couple days, and have shelled out two more tune w/o vocals and percussion but at least they have bass..I am not referring to Coltrane's Dream, but will have "Nobody's Bizness" up soon.. have to convert it to mp3 from WAV. file and it is flat out rock'n roll.. think you will like it rough draft but not bad, wish I had RGMix as my drummer.. :D

Haven't seen you around in months, Rhythm Man. Must have really taken a wrong turn back at Albuquerque last time you clicked on someone's song, eh?

Yeah, I know it's 'only' another click, and, yeah, I do leave the tabs open.
But with my computer, it means another half-minute or 45 seconds of waiting, which is usually enough to make me get off the fence of whether I want to listen to the song in the first place.
That's the reality of it.
So, once more . . . .
Why not post it here?

I've been pretty sick, and then I bought a new computer - mostly for recording music, and making CDs. (it comes w/"Windows 10", which I hate.)
But . . .
I generally spend more time:
- practicing music
- composing music
- teaching music
- recording music
- playing music with friends
- performing music
. . .
- than I spend listening to it, or talking about it.
I talk about music much better when we both have a guitar in our hands . . .
:)
I come here, sometimes, to talk to / meet anyone else with similar interests.
I'm always looking for local musicians, but I've come to realize that the musicians for my style(s) of music are just not available here in my area.

nah, it's NOT "another click"...it's one click less!

someone posts "hey, there's a new tune up on my profile page"....

first off, YOU must be logged in to view their page.

so, then you click on their avatar (or screen name under avatar).... one clickity

that brings you to the NEXT page that you then have to click on to get to their profile page.... two clicketies

then click on the song to start playback.....three clickities

OR....if someone has an embedded link (the kind you just click on)

click on the link...one clickety

hit play....two clickities.

it's actually quicker and one LESS move than going to someone's profile page!

Why not post it here?

well, limited space offered up to non premium members is one reason for me. another is that for now...i'm happy w the tunes i have up on my profile and prefer not to replace them. :D

Mark, I've never paid this site a dime and my entire SoundCloud playlist is on my profile. Over 20 songs.

I think if you link your soundcloud files, then there is no limit - Bandmix is not actually hosting the files. Never saw this feature before!

I think I just linked the first song and it took off. It's funny, this was around the time willie claimed to have broken Bandmix and made everything free.

yep, SOUNDCLOUD and BANDMIX must have cut a business deal together.. notice the soundcloud name on the BandMix player, noticed some time back, when the player did not work as well for me as in the past.. but a beggar can never be a chooser :D j
