Mark Ronson won the Record of the Year Grammy for "Uptown Funk," featuring Bruno Mars.

Taylor Swift won Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the year for '1989' and for Best Music Video for "Bad Blood"

Alabama Shakes took home Grammys for the Best Alternative Music Album for "Sound & Color" and Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for “Don’t Wanna Fight"

Jason Isbell won Grammy awards for Best Americana Roots Album for "Something More Than Free" and Best American Roots Song for "24 Frames."

Chris Stapleton received Grammy awards for the Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Album for "Traveller."

Meghan Trainor received the Grammy award for the Best New Artist.

Muse pose took home the award for best rock album for "Drones."

i haven't watched or given a flying leap about the grammies in yrs.

that said...it good to see Sco and Chris Stapleton getting some acknowledgement that will perhaps introduce them to a wider audience.

i dig stapleton though i much prefer his less commercial work from when he was with The Steeldrivers.

I've never paid attention to the Grammys.

Isbell's "24 Frames" is 'Roots' genre? I wasn't sure where to lump it, I do a solo version.

I listened to the Alabama Shakes album one time. Recorded, mixed and produced very well, but I found the songwriting to be mediocre.
