I kinda missed the opportunities to hear some of the great independent music that some of the real musicians share here.

You know Jeff, the real world tangible benefits of something like said award is questionable at best.

congrats George, could you explain what the akademia website is about? I see Orpheus on that page so I presume it is not a Christian site?

George - please keep us updated on what, if anything, that this place does for you now. I'm leery of any 'contest' that charges an entry fee, yet offers no prizes, just accolades. There sure are a lot of categories, too - they must be raking in some decent $$ every month.

I really don't have any information as related to The Akademia .
I apologize for that Dayne Nobody IV, yet those of you whom know me best here will remember that I am not the tech guy.
Application was made by our front man JAX whom is very proactive in seeking ways and means of promotions. I was not even aware of it until the announcement was received. Had it been left to me I very likely would have ignored it all together.
I will however, be more than glad to refer any information as to future tangible benefit.
Because like many of you I am concerned for the well being of music and musicians as a whole.
Not just myself and my mission.
We are kept fairly busy through our promotions manager, though there is always room for improvement.

Krista is still with us. As a matter of fact she and JAX are engaged to be married.
I don't know whom chose the "pre Krista" photos.
Never fear ... We are writing and arranging music especially for her. As well as arranging performance of that she has written.
