Is there no one that wants to do a pop punk original band?

hi i'm anthony and i've been trying to get together a pop punk/alternative/rock band together that does original music...is no one else interested in doing pop punk? doesn't seem like it...and is there seems to be practically no musicians in michigan? what the heck....

No other musicians in Michigan?? You have to be kidding or extremely young to say that. This place is literally crawling with musicians; the Detroit area has many great bands and they change personnel all the time. You might rethink your approach; calling it 'pop punk' might scare a lot of people away; people might think of Good Charlotte or similar bands. Why not just call it r&r; let other people make the labels.
