Michael Narada Walden or Billy Cobham could you help a fellow musician out and lay some percussion down on this one? TIA.. Abraham Laboriel (the best bassist in the world) please consider one of your signature "slappin' monster bass lines for this, this would be a cool tune with added instrumentation..

nice job, dayne. i don't really hear "slapping" bass on this one!

that opening phrase of your melody reminds me much of the opening line from "I'll Remember April". your tune almost sounds like a reconstruction of ".....April".

thanks Mark, I will see if the tunes you put up will work on the player, really having trouble with all the websites players not working, at least BandMix has a player that works..never can get soundclick.com to work or otherwise I would be listening to Slacker's stuff all day long, soundcloud.com does not work so I can't listen to jook's stuff..reverbnation does not work either.. yourlisten does not work.. I have to get another converter to change audio files into video files to use youtube - Windows Movie Player maybe it was called?

but please take note: the brief 25 sec. range guitar soloing sections are in 4/4 time.. ahit? maybe? will need band-mates eventually.. for live performances..

I like this number. It has a free feel in places (which is cool).
You use a tone simulator but you don't have DSL?? Do you live in the booneys?
I wonder how much a minimal satellite plan would costs? $40 a month?

Mark is right. Slap bass? Nah. Counterpoint walkin' lines, YEAH! And minimal percussion, not Billy Cobham for Pete's sakes! This is laid back stuff. Don't need anything over the top. You want the guitar in front, right?
oh! besides musicians here at BandMix, we also have producers? :D   :!:

I use Ableton Live Lite 5.2.2 Line 6 Edition recording software, with GearBox a Line 6 simulator? it all came packaged together with a Line 6 Toneport UX-2 which I shelled out on sale some years ago right around $119.00 I think?..for years this board suffered me complaining about not being able to use it because of crackling/popping noises, which still come up but much less frequently, and also I did not read the manual enough to find why I could not render the tracks of a tune to disk.. (mastering) found the problem on page 55 of the manual which is as Donalf Trump says, huuuuggee..lately I am like a kid in a candy store, now that I can get it to do two tracks although it is a 4-track machine and would upgrade to the latest Ableton software at 24 tracks I think but the file is too large to download on dial-up.. Brucie was going to do it for me on his high-speed internet but that never came to fruition for whatever reason.. but I am still having a great time having these bottled up musical ideas in my head(some for a few years) and getting them onto a hard drive and uploaded to yourlisten.com

I might could take a stab at that. If you want me to guess the notes, fine!
