do any of you guys that use various guitar presets software such as GearBox for example, have problems recapturing the "tone" when playing a live onstage performance? or do you even want that "simulated" tone in the first place.. I used Achtung Tone for the blues instrumental I put up recently, and I am quite sure I could never re-capture it using my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe guitar amplifier, in that case what do I do?

the GearBox Achtung Tone was used laying down some blues licks, the rhythm guitar setting was GearBox "Blues Ballad" which was one of their CLEAN GUITAR pre-sets, "Achtung Tone" was a CRUNCH GUITAR pre-set

If you're going to be playing a song live, get a tone you like from your amp first, then try to match it with the sim and record it, not the other way around! Or better yet, record the amp with a mic.
