How are you using your right hand? Thumb and 1 finger? 2 fingers?

good morgen jookeyman, it was holding a HEAVY Fender pick between the index finger and thumb and using the right hand ring finger, a hybrid picking method I had to adopt because of numbness in several fingers on right hand, due to turning wrenches too long..
