I see from your profile that you are a vocalist, so I can assume you don't play any instruments. In that case, you need to find yoruself an instrument-playing writing partner. This will be the person who puts together a series of chords that you can then figure out a melody for.
Alternately, learn to play an instrument!

USe the Search function to look through the profiles - you'll need to subscribe (for at least a month) to send messages out. These forums don't attract many people, but there are a ton of profiles.

Latchkey. Right now, you're Ozzy. But you want to become Ronnie James Dio?

I don't know what to tell you.

Seems like you're telling us that all you want to do in life is become a great surfer, but you live in Kansas and have no intentions of getting a surfboard or travelling to the coast.

Here's what I would suggest.
Get a Casio keyboard. Listen to instrumental music on YouTube.
The Ventures. Iron Maiden, whatever.
See if you can come up with something, anything,
just trying to sync up your lyrics with the music.
I might be able to email you some instrumental tracks of my stuff.
What am I talking about? All my stuff is instrumental!

Sorry about that. I just reread your first post. Hope you can figure out something. Maybe go down to an open mic or a jam at Guitar Center and see if anyone can help you work this out.
