"WILL PLAY FOR PRODUCE"
Posted: Mon Oct 12, 2015 9:48 pmPlayed one of my favorite gigs w MERE MORTALS this wkend....Farmer's Mkt in Columbia MO. No pay, put out the tip jar, and at the end the end of the gig the vendors ply us w fresh veggies, fruit, soap, cheeses, freshly baked bread, soaps, etc.
I went home with three large bags of groceries.....and had a blast playing for people that hung out to listen 'cos they wanted to...not because they were already in some bar or restaurant where there happened to be a band playing.
Our regular bass player couldn't make it, so we invited the gal who used to be play w us....been a good two yrs since she played w us and she did a fine job taking care of business.
one day i hope to be good enough that they allow me on the "stage".
