Finding bands/opp to be opening act for big concert in Vegas
Posted: Fri Jul 27, 2007 6:02 pmOne of my clients, the RoadRunner Cowboy Saloons, which are an upscale western themed group of bars/restaurants in Las Vegas is having a competion to find the OPENING ACT for the Double Down Throw down Concert on Sept. 15th at the Orleans Areana. On the bill for the concert will be acts such as Tracy Byrd, Ty Herndon, Andy Griggs, and Whiskey Falls.
Bands needs to go to www.kwnr.com and enter by next Thursday, Aug. 2nd. Can be ameatuer or professional - just need a copy of vocals and everyone must be 21. 95.5 KWNR and Budwesiser Select are co-hosting this event.
The web site lists how the competion will work, but essentially we will pick 9 bands and break them down into groups of three. Each group will have one winner that will advance to the finals on Sept 1st for an outside concert. The winner of that event will go to the DDT concert.
