it is again impossible for me to upload a 46.2 mb WAV file to yourlisten.com .. it quits around the 18mb mark after several attempts and thus fails..again dial-up sux, but no alternative here other than satellite..anybody else use any of the various free wav file to mp3 file converter software? no need to use the ones where you upload to their website and they send you back a mp3 file to email box.. defeats the purpose, AVS4u seems good but at 60 bucks?

This ain't free, and I'm sure that it's more than you want to pay....


but a few years ago I got something called "Wondershare" because I couldn't convert .TOD files from my hi-def JVC camera. It was about $60, I think?

But it's amazing. It will even download and convert files from an internet site. There is no kind of file, audio or video, that it can't convert into any other kind of file you can imagine. It could probably convert Jimmy into a Christian, Mark into a conservative, Glenny into a liberal.

Are you sure it was them, and not another source that attached itself and pretended to be wondershare?

It is the ONLY converter I ever found for converting .TOD files to mp4 or whatever else I needed. Does it real fast, too


But I don't like the thought of it being a trojan horse that's sending my data to China!!!

I downloaded the converter that Bill suggested, got the tune at 9mb+ now in mp3 format and uploaded it to here: but the player won't work for me..does it work for any of you?

(LAME is the mp3 encoder used by most free or low cost SW, and it is a great sounding library.)
