hissing on playback

I'm having some issues with my mixer, Its a xenyx q802usb behringer, and I'm having some issues with a hissing in the background on playback how do I eliminate this problem. I'm using my digital drum kit directly into mixer board. Thanks.

Are you using balanced cables? The hiss most likely is coming from the preamps in the mixer - turn the DD output up, and the gain on the mixer inputs down.

Have you looked on how you have your pedals plugged in? My buddy told me to swith my distortion oedal to the side where my delay was. Like distortion plugged straigjt from the amo then delay then guitar like this. And my hissing went away so.... try that. I hope it helps. Also im lookin for a band that needs a rhythm guitarist i love metallica and others as well.
